Sanctuary Choir

The sanctuary choir at First Lutheran is more than a choir. It is a choir family. We are more than Sunday singers as we endeavor to reach out in many different directions to bring a spiritual ministry using music as the cornerstone of our outreach.

The choir is open to anyone, high school age and up, who likes to sing and wishes to be a part of the music ministry. No auditions are required. You are welcome when you walk up to the choir loft.

The variety of ways in which we serve include providing our Sunday services with musical anthems and preludes that incorporate the vocal and instrumental talents of all age groups. We are currently exploring the addition of a set of bells in order to form a bell choir to add new and different forms of musical expression.

We also join in with other churches in the Columbus area for special programs and concerts for festive occasions.

The sanctuary choir practices every Thursday evening and usually 45 minutes before the Sunday worship service. Come join us and make a joyful noise to the Lord.
