Spiritual Gifts Education – Fact or Fiction 

Read each statement below and decide if it is fact or fiction.

1.      The apostle Paul discusses spiritual gifts in three areas of scripture – Romans 12, 1 Corinthians 12, and Ephesians 4. 

2.     By God’s grace we are all given spiritual gifts through the Holy Spirit. 

3.     Everyone has at least one spiritual gift. 

4.     We are to use our spiritual gifts out of love for one another and in service to one another. 

5.     Somebody can have all the spiritual gifts.

Things to remember….. 

• Spiritual gifts are not earned.

• Spiritual gifts are not a reward. 

• Spiritual gifts are not to be sought after or coveted. 

• Spiritual gifts have purpose. 

• Spiritual gifts need to be shared. 

• Spiritual gifts need to be used in the correct way – to serve God. 

• Spiritual gifts come from God.
