Music at FLC
The music ministry at First Lutheran consists of more than a Sunday morning choir. Our ministry provides both contemporary and traditional choral tributes to God’s Word. It provides the congregation with opportunities for visual expressions as an enhancement to the vocal and instrumental expressions. There is an outreach that ministers to the home-bound and joins with other community choirs and bands to bring combined programs for festive occasions and holidays. Music as an expression of worship blends vocal and instrumental tools and is currently exploring the creation of a bell choir. Last but not least, the music ministry provides an opportunity for fun, fellowship and leisure activities within a small group setting.
