Education

We provide educational opportunities year-round for adults and during the school year for children preschool and older. Our Nursery is also available for any younger children. The Sunday education hour is held between our two worship services at 10:00am. We also have many active small groups that meet on a regular basis to study the Bible and share their faith and fellowship. Each summer we hold a Vacation Bible School that is well attended by our youth and their friends. See the church calendar for a complete schedule of events.

Faith Forum (F²)--9th thru 12th grade (Fellowship Hall). Taking a look at the TV show, Joan of Arcadia, as well as several other topics. To join us in conversation outside of the classroom please join our facebook group.
Christian Heroes: Lives, Prayers and Scriptures--Adults (Fellowship Hall) Did you know the Lutheran church celebrates 27 different festivals throughout the year to honor the people and learn from their example? We will be studying these festivals and the lives of the people they celebrate.

Vacation Bible School:
Vacation Bible School occurs annually each July in the evenings from 5:30pm till 8:30pm Sunday through Thursday. (Save the Date: July 22-26th, 2012.) Dinner is provided each night for all participants and their families. Any final last minute registrations can come beginning at 5:00pm on Sunday. Thanks to all who joined us in 2011 as we jumped into the middle of Paul's journey and watched the story of his radical faith unfold!! You learned to JUMP! and put your faith in motion.

Small Group Information:
Friendship Bible Study is presented in Fellowship Hall every Monday night at 7:00 pm except during the summer months. This time of fellowship and Bible study is geared to those with developmental disabilities. See the church calendar for exact dates.

High School Bible Study meets at Starbucks on National Road from 6:30am-7:20am every Thursday morning of the school year. Any and all High School youth interested in gathering together to grow in their faith are welcome. Currently, the group is reading "One Thing" by Dwayne Roberts. Complementary beverages are o ccasionally provided. Please bring your Bibles each week.

Men's Fellowship Group meets here at church every Wednesday morning at 6:30am for Bible Study, prayer, fellowship, laughter, and learning. They conclude their time together going out for breakfast at a local restaurant.

Christian Book Club meets in the church library every Sunday afternoon at 5:30pm to discuss a book from the Christian Fiction genre.

Chapel Chicks meets here at church every Saturday at 8:30am for fellowship and Bible Study.

Leisure Fellowship, for retiree's, meets for food and fellowship twice a month at various restaurants. Contact the church office for more information.

Bethany Circle meets here at church every 3rd Thursday of the month at 10:00am for Bible study, then head out to lunch at a local restaurant.
